Service instructor!

Strengthen your instructing skills as you orientate and guide a student or employee to work. The training focuses on methods of counselling and develops ways of using them with employees and students. You will learn about planning, guiding to work, special situations and evaluation.

The training is aimed at you who wants to

  • become better at guiding to work tasks
  • develop instructing skills
  • succeed in working as a service counsellor.

The training is carried out completely online, the study platform is Microsoft Teams. We offer the training in Finnish and in English.

About the studies

The scope of Guiding to work in the service sector is 60 competence points (cp). It consists of two vocational units from the Further Vocational Qualification in Cleaning and Property Services:

Online sessions:

  • 22.1.2025 at 3-4 pm (info/orientation)
  • 5.2.2025 at 2-4 pm
  • 13.2.2025 at 2-4 pm
  • 26.2.2025 at 2-4 pm
  • 12.3.2025 at 2-4 pm

The start date of your studies will be arranged with you individually, if you are selected as a student. At the beginning of your studies, a personal study plan will be drawn up with you. Your prior knowledge and skills will also be considered. The duration of the studies will be specified in the personal plan.

Online studies

Online studies do not include on-site teaching at Keuda. Online studies may include online teaching in accordance with your personal plan at pre-arranged times. You have access to various online learning environments where you can find study materials and assignments. You will receive feedback on the development of your vocational competence from your teacher. You supplement your online studies according to your personal plan by learning in working life. When you have achieved your vocational competence, you demonstrate it in practical work situations. For the duration of your studies, you must sign an apprenticeship agreement.

This training is suitable for you if you guide and orientate other employees at your workplace.

Requirements for studies

To apply for these studies, you need a workplace where you have work tasks in accordance with this qualification. The workplace must be in Finland.

Studying requires sufficient English language skills.

With an apprenticeship agreement, the studies are free of charge.

How to apply?

Continuous admission

There is continuous admission to these studies.

We will contact you within two weeks after you have filled in the application form. Every applicant participates in an individual interview. After the interview, you will receive information by e-mail within two weeks whether you have been accepted to Keuda or not.
Fill in only one application form. You can have only one application valid at a time. It is possible to change the programme you’re applying for by contacting the Admission Services. Write your phone number, email, and home address with care. Please also inform the Admission Services if you want to complement your application or if, for example, your contact information has been changed.
