Joonas Tuhkuri, MIT Department of Economics
Many fear that new technologies will take our jobs and increase inequality. But data tell a different story. Unemployment has not increased over the long run. Firms that adopt robots hire more workers, not less. Why haven’t robots not taken our jobs? What effects should we expect in the future? In this talk about the future of work, economist Joonas Tuhkuri discusses why work does not end and provides a surprising answer. The talk will draw from the latest research at MIT and elsewhere and helps each of us understand why there are still jobs.13.35 – 13.50 CET

Come and meet some staff to find out how it went, what we learned, and what’s to come!
